Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – Senior Shia cleric Grand Ayatollah Hussein Noori Hamedani received a group of Indian Prayer leaders in Qom on Monday, August 21.

During the meeting, the Shia scholar highlighted the influential role of prayer leaders in the Islamic world saying, "Prayer leaders play a crucial role in the Muslim community since they must inform people about the world events. Friday prayer is considered as a great social act of worship in Islam; According to Ahl-ul-Bayt's (as) narrations, Friday prayer leaders must elaborate on the political conditions of the worlds as well as the ongoing events during their two sermons while performing this religious act."

The Shia source of emulation further added, "The enemies are sowing discord within Muslim community through different means; they do the sword dance in Saudi palace and the Saudis also support the Zionist regime."

"The enemies created ISIS with the belief that they must kill Muslims and their mission is to spread Iranophobia and Shiaphobia worldwide."

The senior Shia cleric reiterated that glory of Islam lies in Jihad and martyrdom and Muslims' must adhere to this valuable religious deed in order to dignify Islam.
